Renowned lecturer for ACCA and Oxford Brookes Degree Thilina Ukwatta joins Imperial College

Recently joining the team at ICBS, Thilina counts over nine years of experience in lecturing finance and management related subjects for ACCA, CIMA, CISI and CFA Program. He has also been involved in training programs in Maldives and has been a corporate trainer in Dubai.
Thilina is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) UK. He is also a Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, a Member of Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) Sri Lanka and a Graduate from the University of Oxford Brookes (UK) with Upper Second Class Honours.
He worked as a trainee audit executive at KPMG Sri Lanka conducting statutory audits and also as an equity research analyst at Asia Capital Plc. He also served as the Manager for Strategic Planning at a local institute and as a consultant at AR Capital Advisory Pvt Ltd a boutique investment advisory firm.
Thilina’s dynamic, organized, extremely detailed and comprehensive lecturing style and his explanations on exam technique has resulted in him developing his students understanding on finance topics and making them award winners both locally and internationally. At ICBS the goal is to help students complete their ACCA diploma in 6 months and the advance diploma in 12 months and thereafter get the Oxford Brookes Degree in 3 months.
